redgroup, (research, engineering, and design inc.), is a product development consulting group located just 2 miles northeast of downtown Minneapolis. redgroup was founded in 1995 by Lars Runquist and provides user research, industrial design, mechanical engineering, and project management services to a variety of clients and projects.

redgroup has been recognized numerous times for excellence in product development by various professional organizations over the years. redgroup attributes this success, in part, to our skill in conducting Phase 0 user research. Programs at redgroup start with the team in the field talking to the end-user. This focus helps redgroup better understand the user and discover opportunity areas for making a great product. From there, redgroup offers a full “turn key” set of solutions for product development, involving industrial design, mechanical engineering and project management.
