- The design of system allows the physician to easily control and manipulate the spinning guide wire and crown that removes calcified plaque from arteries. Another great project that utilized user-centered design to generate a product that not only was applauded by the doctors that use it, but also was commercialized and FDA-approved in less than 12 months.
